Programme Producer

Streetwise Opera is an inclusive organisation and actively promotes equality. We welcome applications from a wide range of candidates, particularly those with who have experienced homelessness. We're now seeking a dynamic Programme Producer to work in our central London office.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced producer of live arts and will have a passion for working with people from all walks of life. They will be responsible for running our national workshop programme, producing productions and performances, and will line manage a team of regional and freelance staff.

This is an exciting and diverse role which involves: developing our strategy to help homeless people change their lives through music; contributing to artistic planning for performances; managing logistics for productions; developing and maintaining relationships with our partners (arts and homelessness organisations); managing multiple budgets, timelines and targets; and overseeing our regional workshop programmes.

You will need to have excellent people management skills, including comprehensive experience of line management, as well as strong organisational and communication skills. You will be a flexible self-starter who is able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to have a strong knowledge of the arts sector and an empathy with homeless and socially-excluded people.

  • Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum depending on experience
  • Location: Central London with regular travel to Nottingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Middlesbrough
  • Hours: Full-time (37 hours)
