For many years we have referred to our regular supporters as our Friends. For a time now, we felt this didn’t really reflect what regular supporters make possible, and wanted a name that really emphasised the impact regular giving makes to our work and to Streetwise Opera’s participants and performers.  

As a result, we’re delighted to introduce the Streetwise Opera Changemakers!

The Changemakers are our community of supporters who have a commitment to give regularly, whether monthly or annually. Their generosity provides Streetwise Opera with reliable income, which enables us to confidently plan ahead and provide some of the most marginalised people in society with the opportunity to enter a safe space of creativity and learning.  

By becoming a Changemaker, you too can create opportunities for inspiration and empowerment, as well as gaining additional insights into Streetwise Opera’s activities and becoming closer to the company.

Whether it’s our weekly sessions in Manchester, Nottingham and London, our creative projects in frontline homelessness settings or our performances that enable Streetwise Opera performers to step into the spotlight, all the work supported by Changemakers’ donations helps people affected by homelessness feel seen and heard.
