Ambassadors is a new strand of Streetwise Opera’s work that puts the ideas and voices of our performers at the heart of shaping our future.
We want Performers to be more involved in the wider work of Streetwise Opera, sharing their ideas and helping shape our future.
Through this programme, performers have the opportunity to represent Streetwise Opera in a variety of ways, speaking with the press, supporters and funders; representing the organisation at major events, and advocating for the impact of our work.
Through this initiative, Streetwise performers will share their experiences of co-creating world-class opera with some of the most exciting people working in the field today, including leading composers, directors, conductors and singers.
The Ambassadors programme is underpinned by dedicated training and skills development, ensuring that each Ambassador feels confident and supported in their role.
The programme shines a light on the wide range of skills performers bring to Streetwise Opera, from communication and public speaking, to contributing ideas about Streetwise Opera’s future direction.
