Laurence is our Regional Producer based in Nottingham, where he leads Streetwise Opera’s work across the region.

He brings a wealth of experience from the charity and public sectors, having spent much of his career at a large, vibrant city-centre church, running outreach projects, intergenerational events, and supporting university students and wider community engagement. He later worked for the Ministry of Justice as a Diversity and Inclusion Manager, where he developed strategic plans, supported staff networks, and worked closely with stakeholders to help build more inclusive workplaces.

Alongside his producing work, Laurence is a professional actor with credits in popular TV shows including Emmerdale and Coronation Street. He is currently preparing to take on the iconic role of Hamlet in his hometown of Nottingham, in a new production at the Theatre Royal in collaboration with the Royal Shakespeare Company. He also works as a tutor, consultant and speaker on diversity, inclusion and wellbeing.

Laurence enjoys songwriting, cooking, and soaking up any sunshine the UK has to offer.
