Lucy is CEO - Maternity Cover and is leading Streetwise Opera until November 2023, when Chief Executive Rachael Williams returns from maternity leave. Her responsibilities include staff team leadership, working with Artistic Director Martin Constantine and the Board of Trustees, strategic planning and delivery, supporting fundraising, and working with partners and stakeholders.

Lucy has worked in the arts, charity and women’s sectors over three decades.  She has worked as a freelance consultant supporting leaders and Boards with organisational change, business planning, financial sustainability and strategic fundraising. Previously she was Interim Deputy Director at Dulwich Picture Gallery (2019-2020) where she co-led on a pioneering arts and health project with the NHS; and Chief Executive of Clean Break (2097-2018) – the groundbreaking national theatre company focusing on women in criminal justice on stage, in prisons and in the community.

A Hackney resident, Lucy enjoys local culture and green spaces, tennis, walking and making the most of everything that was closed down during the pandemic. Also spending time with her sons who are both young musicians.
