Curator and Heritage Project Manager (Manchester)

Streetwise Opera is looking to appoint a self-motivated individual with strong curational and project management skills. Working closely with Streetwise Opera participants in heritage, arts and homelessness settings, the role will involve supporting and guiding the research into composers and artists of African and Caribbean heritage.

The Curator and Heritage Project Manager (Manchester) will lead site visits, reflections sessions, co-curation of exhibitions and co-manage work as part of the Re:Discover Festival.

We are looking for an individual who has experience curating and managing participatory heritage projects and working with vulnerable adults.

Details

Contract: Freelance, 2 days per week. 25 weeks - January to June.

Fee: £200 per day @ 2 days a week, for 25 weeks = £10,000.

Location: Working from home with the ability to attend sessions, visits, exhibitions etc in Manchester.
